Rosie and Santa

domino brooch

this little brooch was made with a Penny Black stamp from a clear Christmas set,stamped with versamark straight on to the domino and covered in  black embossing powder ,heated to set and coloured  in using permanent marker.Brooch finding then attached to back with heat gun.Oh nearly forgot stamped some snowflakes and covered with pearl with embossing powder.

Name Signs

This again another project which has been sitting waiting for years to do.I bought the frames in both blue and pink out of a supermarket many moons ago.I  have used Penny Black teddy bear stamps , i stamped them firstly on the patterned paper and then on to plain white card stock. I stamp them on the patterned paper as when you are cutting them out of the white card you don't need to be so careful .Then teddy's are coloured in with the following lesarset pens : sandstone , blush , pastel pink and powder blue (which i used to highlight the inside of the letter frame. The swirly border at the bottom is from a border stamp set from Lakeland (but they don't do craft stuff anymore) and is stamped in rosebud by memento the teddy's are also stamped in memento ink  tuxedo black. The letter are stamped in tuxedo black by memento inks and the letter inks were a 99p set i bought from the papermill.The background paper was from my scraps.

more decorations

I have been busy trying to make some of my christmas presents. But its so cold here its unbeleivable.here are pic of some the decorations i made last week i am going to put names and the year on the back and use them as christmas tags as well. Both stamps are wooden stamps by Trimcraft from their smirk range . I think they are quite cute.

snowman decoration

As i am still on my mission to use everything,i decided to make some decorations i got the discs in paris about four years ago .I paint the side with a blue paint i then covered both the front and back in scrapbook paper which came from a forever friends 6"by6" stack (whichi bought two years ago) and i used this lovely kim hughes stamp.To stamp the image i used tuxedo black memento ink , i stamped the image directly onto the dec first so that i had the arms and then i stamped it onto smooth white card coloured the heart and then coverd it in pink stickles ,added pink ribbon so that you can hang it on the tree.I am leaving the reverse side blank so that when i decide who its for i can either stamp their name or cut the letter out using my big shot.

Things to come

I know i havnt posted in a few days but i am making lots of stuff and hope to upload the pictures later.I have been trying really hard not to spend any money on crafting (well i can buy the essentials ) and its totally amazing that i am doing projects that i had the ideas for years ago. I am addicted to papercrafts and all the goodies that you can buy i also went through a major beading stage so i have loads of materials to work with. i would love to work in poundland as a crafter there is so much you can alter. well i off back to craft

Another little pound shop find 4 notebooks in a pack ,covered with dcwv papers which i had had for at least four years , i think its another anitas stamp and school sticker is from a pack from pound stretcher

This is a bingo board i bought in a pound shop.It is covered frint and back in green brazzil card stock.I then stamped it with anitas stamps(from the usa) and stamped a little picture or saying on each of the pages

i am making lots of different little stocking fillers at the moment but i get all my ideas when i am in bed and its not like the old days when i could just get up and do it when i cant sleep now i have the wonderful little rosie to look after too . I wonder will she love crafting ??????

christmas decoration

 

ok so i have had these small frames for years in my craft room and now i am on a self imposed ban on buying any more craft stuff until i use every stamp at least once, i am getting to do the projects i meant to. i covered the frame with paper from a 6 x 6 pad of forever friends papers, christmas tree embellishment i got at mad about cards at least 3 years ago.I stamped this lovely verse ( company to be added) and covered the back in red card to give it a neat finished look

This necklace is very easy to make just basic stringing but i think looks very effective

civil partnership

This was card a candle i made for a friend who was getting married in brighton.And just by chance i coloured the dickie bow pink and was the colour they were wearing, well at least it looks pink to me in the photos

Dominio brooch

Hello as i am trying to not buy any more craft stuff i am using up all the stuff i bought over the past 5 years. Much of which was bought with great intentions.
This is a plain dominio piece stamped with a penny black image and heat embossed. the whole dominio has been coloured with my pro markers and a little stickles added for christmas shimmer. A brooch fitting has been attached to the back with a heat gun. A very addictive little project so expect to see lots more
